This past tuesday, we celebrated our Gotcha Day anniversary by having dinner at Sunny Lee's Hunan Taste Restaurant. I dressed up Mia in a beautiful red chinese silk dress and put on her jade necklace that we bought for her at the Jade Factory in Beijing last year. She looked like a beautiful China doll! The staff at the restaurant kept coming back to meet her and talk to her in Chinese. It was like we were back in China for a moment. We are having fun getting ready for Christmas. Last year, we had been home 4 days on Christmas, we didn't do much besides get adjusted with schedules and life with a new baby. This Christmas we are looking forward to watching Mia's expressions as she wakes up Christmas morning and opens her presents. It's going to be so much fun!! Can't wait. But for now, Mia and I get ready for a trip up north to see my dad once again. So off to pack I go.... until next time.
